songs: (P.Melancon) ©2001, 2002 UbikMusik, BMI. a word or two: What follows are the sometimes wordy ramblings of yours truly about each song. I don't explain the CD, by any means, it would sort of defeat the purpose. But the CD was always intended to be viewed as a whole, even though some of the songs existed before the overall idea. Hopefully it works, it's hard for me to judge, to take a decent look from the outside. Feel free to let me know. My thanks go out to everyone reading this. Sincerely. Also, thanks to all the musicians who agreed at one time or another to perform on the CD, who suffered my vague descriptions and worked magic anyway. Thanks to the musicians around me, friends of mine, who have been an inspiration and a support group without ever really knowing it. Thanks to the songs that were intended to be on the CD ("Mr. Mysterio," "Fall Down," and "While Supplies Last") but didn't make it to the end. Sorry, lads, maybe next time. Lastly,
thanks to Rob Gal, the best George Martin-Mitchell Froom-Jon Brion-saving-the-neurotic-artist's-ass-everytime
producer anyone could ask for. None of this would be here if not for him. |
